Portable blackout blind
Instructions for installation
• Before fitting, make sure the window and suction cups are clean and dry. Wash with warm soapy water if needed.
• If a suction cup has become misshapen, place it in a bowl of hot water for 2–3 minutes, then allow it to cool and return
to shape.
• Adjust the blind to fit your window by joining the hook-and-loop resizing squares until you reach the required size.
• Apply a thin film of water to each suction cup with a damp cloth or finger.
• Position the blind against the window and press each suction cup firmly onto the glass for a few seconds to create a secure seal.
• To remove the blind, gently lift the edge or tab of each suction cup to release the seal. Do not pull on the blind fabric.
• For extra hold and improved light blocking around the edges, attach the optional fasteners to the frame and the corresponding unused squares on the blind.

• The silver backing helps reduce solar heat gain compared with dark-backed blinds, but it does not prevent heat build-up.
• In hot, sunny conditions, keep the window behind the blind open to let heat escape and help protect the window, suction cups and blind.
• Remove the suction cups and frame fasteners carefully to avoid damage. Frame fasteners may leave residue and may damage insecure or recently
decorated paintwork.
• WARNING: Keep away from fire and naked flames.

• Keep the room well ventilated whenever the blind is in use.
• Do not position the blind directly above a child’s bed or anywhere a child could pull it down. Keep the spare suction cup, frame fasteners, and
storage bag out of children's reach.
